My precious kiddos came in with all sorts of energy and excitement! Whenever I asked a question, it seemed like every other hand I called on responded by saying "I just can't wait for Christmas!" :) Me too, sweet one. Me too! :)
As much as my heart is continuing to break for the families and people affected by the Sandy Hook tragedy, I couldn't help but feel the pressing reminder to not take any day or any moment for granted. Each day is a gift and tomorrow is never guaranteed. Especially today, as each of my kids came in the door, I was reminded anew of the incredible blessing, privilege, and responsibility I have as their teacher!
On Sunday, our message at church was about extending gratitude and the pastor shared this quote, "Unexpressed gratitude translates into ingratitude." He talked about how we can feel thankful, but if we don't communicate it or express it, the other person feels like we are not grateful.
I made up these Christmas thank you notes tonight to use to write notes to extend gratitude this Christmas season. They would be great for thank yous for gifts or also great for any RACK {Random Acts of Christmas Kindness} that you or your class may be doing this week {have your class write thank you notes to the janitors!} Click on the picture below to download your FREE copy of these Christmas thank you notes. I made them in black and white and color for your printing options!
