The Magical Product Swap with Keeping Up with First Grade & a SALE!

I am excited to once again be apart of "The Magical Product Swap!"
MrsStanfordsClass
Thanks to the work of Mrs. Standford, I was partnered with a fellow first grade teacher, Brittany Schinke of:

  KeepingUpWithFirstGrade

I was able to pick one item from her TPT store {here} to review and I chose her:
I know summer is hard for our brains to comprehend right after Christmas break; especially since there is still snow on the ground in PA! However, I'm always looking ahead and one of the things that I have been wanting to do is to have a packet prepared to send home with my kiddos so that they can be working on their skills over the summer! So you can imagine my excitement when I saw that Brittany had already put one together!

Brittany's summer readiness packet has 17 pages to choose from to create your own packet to send home with your kids before summer break. One thing that I really appreciated about Brittany's packet is that she includes a color AND black and white copy for each page, which makes her entire Summer Readiness packet to be 33 pages long!

This packet includes:

-2 calendars with activities for each day in July and August
She uses the Common Core to create each of the day's activities. Some examples of activities include:
*Write your first and last name 5 times.
*Take a trip to the local library.
*Place an egg in water to see if it sinks or floats.
*Make a map of your house
*Count by 2's to 100.
*Count how many pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters are in your mom's purse.

Aren't those great skills for kids to do be working on?! The calendars alone are a great resource to give parents for the summer!

-4 hundreds charts for students to fill in
I know that my kids can always use more practice with their 100's charts. I liked too that on 2 of the charts students not only had to fill in the missing numbers, but also have to color in numbers by 5 and by 10.

-4 Addition and Subtraction Pages and 2 blank pages to fill in facts to differentiate
Differentiation is so important and I really appreciated that Brittany also included a blank addition and subtraction page so that I could write in facts to meet the needs of my students.

-1 Summer Memories graphic organizer, 1 Summer Reading Log, and 3 writing pages
Brittany has also included some pages for students to practice reading and writing!

Click the button below to purchase her summer readiness pack or to put it on your wish list for the end of the year!
Thank you Brittany for sharing your unit with me and thank you Mrs. Standford for arranging the swap! Be sure to click on their names and get connected to both of their fabulous blogs!

Brittany also reviewed one of my products and you can see her review by clicking {here}.

In celebration of the swap I am throwing a sale in my store from today until Monday! Everything in my store is 20% off! Click {here} or on the button below to go to my TPT store!
That means that my two newest units are also on sale! Click the pictures to check them out! My kids ADORED the snowball fight this past week! Oh.my.goodness! They are BEGGING to do more snowball fights! One little boy asked: "Can we do a snowball fight for our next reward?" How precious is that!?

If you are a teacher involved in the SWAP and want to join in on the sale, please feel free to use the sale button picture I made above! If you do use it, credit with a link to my blog would be appreciated. :)
