TPT Back to School Sale!!

TPT is having their annual Back to School Sale! Who doesn't love a good sale? I know that this girl does! It's time to put some of those wish list items into the cart! Don't you all just love TPT? There are SO many great resources on there!

I've joined up with some incredible teachers on Blog Hoppin and am throwing a sale in my TPT store! That means that you not only get 20% off my items, but then can also use the code BTS12 to get an additional 10% off!!

Thanks Amy Lemons for sharing the absolutely adorable sale banner!

If you teach the long e spelling pattern /ee/ and /ea/ then you will want to check out my Long E Tennis Teams unit! It's especially perfect with the Olympics happening this year!

This unit teaches the /ee/ and /ea/ pattern with two tennis teams: "The Dream Team" and "The Sweet Team." As a teacher, I LOVE using multiple ways for my students to learn, enjoy, and attain new skills. This unit not only offers an engaging introduction lesson, but also teaches students a gesture to use when reading words with the spelling pattern. My kids eat it up! There are also many activities that can be used in a whole group or small group setting! Need centers? Just print and then the directions page will give you easy step by step instructions to implement it in the classroom. One of my favorites is the game "What's the Racket?" where students use the provided tennis rackets to swing and "hit" the correct long e tennis ball words!

Just click on the picture above to check out the unit on TPT!

And while you are there, if you need posters for your math BUILD centers, then be sure to check out my freebies by clicking on the pictures below!

Happy Shopping!

  2. Hello!

I just found your blog when I was looking for Daily 5 math resources. This is my first year teaching first grade and I would love to hear more about how you run your BUILD math groups. I did something similar with my kindergarten students last year, but I want to make some changes this year. I also have a blog that I just started if you would like to check it out: http://sunnydayswithmrsking.blogspot.com/

    Have a great school year!
